The Black Swan |
|
|
As the sun sets on a warm summer day, a black swan glides gracefully through a tranquil pond.
Its sleek feathers glisten in the fading light as it moves through the water with effortless elegance.
But as the swan continues its journey, it begins to feel a sense of unease. Something is not quite right.
As it approaches the centre of the pond, the swan notices a disturbance in the water.

A ripple, growing stronger and stronger,
is spreading out from the far side of the pond. The swan watches intently, unsure of what is causing the disturbance.
Suddenly, a large object bursts through the water's surface, sending waves crashing in every direction. The swan flaps its wings furiously, trying to gain some distance from
the unknown entity. But as it looks closer, it realises that the object is not a threat at all - it's just a fallen tree branch that had been caught in the pond's currents.

Relieved, the swan continues its journey through the pond. But as it does, it can't help but feel a sense of foreboding. What else might be lurking in the waters beneath its feet?
And will it be able to navigate any future obstacles with the same grace and poise that it has shown thus far? |
